Safety tips: Keep out of reach of children. Keep wick trimmed to 1/8 to no more than 1/4 inch above gel. Discontinue use when candle reaches 1" from the bottom. Remove any exposed glass embeds as they emerge from the cooled gel.

All embeds will stay in place as the candle burns down. No flammable embeds are used in our products. Most of the embeds are made of glass. Those embeds not made of glass never come in contact with the wick. Those embeds that are made of parafin wax will melt with the gel.
No, I use only zinc core wicks for gel candles which conforms to most recent goverment standards.
